now, according to my bro the koi fish has a lot of significance to japan representing strength
in Japanese mythology the "koi fish" would swim against the current till it reaches the mountain at this point it would become a "koi dragon", from here it would go up the mountain
and after a hard journey it would reach the top of the mountain becoming a full Dragon as it pierces the sky
